Good Batteries July 9, 2002 100 out of 105 found this review helpful
Well, like most Monster products, this is a high quality product that is overpriced. I really wish the other people writing reviews didn't feel the need to write in caps with exclamation points all over the place. These are not the highest powered batteries, the newer Kodak Max 1850 mAh ones are. They are also cheaper. These Monster batteries are good, just not the best, or best value. For those interested in battery/charger combos: The Kodak Max 1850 mAh do not currently come bundled with their K2000 charger(they bundle the 1700s). Monster does bundle their 1800 mAh batteries with their charger. Kodak's charger can charge all 4 batteries at the same time, while Monster's can only charge 2 at a time. Monster's combo also costs more than Kodak. Just some pros and cons to think about. I personally feel Kodak is a better value.
Greatest NiMH batts ever June 16, 2002 13 out of 16 found this review helpful
I would recomend these batteries over all else for many reasons one being the price. These Batteries are more expensive then other rechargable batteries but have a power rating of 1800mAh. Most others are 1600mAh or 1700mAh and these last twice as long as a set of energizers i have in my Minolta Dimage 7i. That camara uses normal alkalines in 15 min! but these last like 2 hours of continuos use. The 1700mAh that came with it last like an hour or so. The second reson i recomend these are that they are made by Monster and they make very good [STUFF]. All their cables are top of the line and so are these batteries. GET THESE NOW!
Worth the Money September 30, 2002 11 out of 16 found this review helpful
Worth the money so far. But only if you use it in something like a digital camera that can suck down power. I have gotten over 100 pics with flash on my Olympus, where I got less than 40 with regular NIMH, and 20 with alkaline. On a recent trip, I brought 2 charged sets and got all of my pictures taken without needing to resort to recharging.
High capacity for digital photography May 9, 2003 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Digital cameras eat batteries, period. With 4 of these in my Fuji, I took over 200 flash pictures at a party without a problem. I never had to get out my set of spares. That's the way it is; that's the way it should be. Highly recommended.
Economical April 5, 2003 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I own 14 of these batteries now, and I use them for every battery operated device I own. They are much more powerful than other batteries and charge fully in about 3 hours. The battery charger is also conveniently small. Highly recommended for high drain devices (I own 2 MP3-CD Players and a digital camera.)
