As a loyal Gaiam customer, I was pleased to see their offering of Aluminum Water Bottles. Great colors and designs. I recently read on a blog that Gaiam will introduce a Stainless Steel bottle in January. Sign me up!!
great water bottle, cap a little annoying December 7, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have owned this bottle for a little over a week. I really like the look of it. My only complaint is that sometimes it is hard to get the cap to screw back on. If you don't have the exact angle, you may have to start over a couple of times. I've gotten used to what I need to do, but I considered returning it on the first day.
Good bottle - but the cap - Ugh!!! December 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great water bottle - a nice size, very pretty, and seems quite durable. When I was thinking of ordering it I read the reviews that talked about the difficulty of getting the cap on, and I thought people were just being whiny. Boy, was I wrong. Getting the cap to thread back on correctly is ridiculously difficult. Most of the time it takes me three or four (very irritating) tries. I've started just using this bottle at work, where I leave the cap off. If you're looking for a bottle to carry around with you, I'd go with another brand. I wish I had.
great bottle December 5, 2008 I got the green grass one on clearance from a store a while back. I constantly get compliments on it (I use it at work). The bottle looks great and there is no weird taste from the metal. My only complaints are that it's kind of a pain to wash out (even in the dishwasher), and that the screw cap is kind of annoying (I just leave the cap off altogether for work). Great bottle for my use though!
Great, but don't leave it upside down December 27, 2008 My drinking water tastes great with this fully recyclable, non-plastic water bottle. All I do is put tap water into my Brita and then fill my gaiam water bottle with that. It stays fresh for a few days. Although it is a little heavy, I carry it with me pretty much everywhere. The only thing I don't like is that the seal on the poly loop cap isn't as strong as I would like it. You have to tighten the cap pretty tightly, otherwise the other papers in my bag get wet if this bottle happens to be turned upside down!
