 Great remote--lousy software June 12, 2008

I basically agree with a lot of the other reviews I read before making the purchase. The remote is great (though I really wish it came with a docking station instead of a cheesy adapter to plug it into for recharging) but the software sucks. Once you learn how the software works (which you'll do on your own as there's next to no documentation) there's an amazing array of things you can do--definitely worth buying through here and not at the Big Box stores. Don't be surprised when you program the software to do "A" and then you synch the new programming to the remote and the remote does "B" (aka... something completely unexpected and not what you were looking for). It FAR from perfect but a little persistence, insight, and patience will get you there. I'd highly recommend the product! Five stars except for the software!!
