stick but poor sound effect May 2, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Yes, it is tight, it will not flip off my ears when i am jogging, but i only used it once and find a big disadvantage of it - the sound is really poor. the earphone itself is so far from the ear that when I am jogging, wind just hide the sound of earphone. so I guess it may not suitable for outdoor sport. If you want to use this product outdoor, need reconsideration.
Great for Jogging/Exercising September 25, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i love love love these headphones for working out. like one other reviewer the sound is not spectacular, but considering i am jogging outside it is pretty good. in fact my husband and i share our ipod and i just decided to get another one and i am buying another set of headphones for the new ipod.
most bang for your buck December 12, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
PANASONIC HP11 clip-on headphones Advantages: great sound, low weight (0.8 oz), long cable (43"), comfortable fit for several hours, washable ear pads, 45 hinges, cable clip, gold plated 3.5 mm connector, durable construction, perfect for sport (workout, jogging, etc), low price ($11.46). Disadvantages: some wind noises, weak bass (0.75" speakers), cable for right ear shorter than for the left, cable gets easily tangled, only in lightblue-silver available. Highly recommeded for indoor/outdoor activities, requiring min. weight, max. comfort and low price.
Nice workout headphones - but not really for small ears January 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I brought these headphones to use at the gym, and have been using them for 6 months now. I knew that I did not want wrap around headphones, and these seemed like some of the better workout headphones that Amazon offers. In fact I got these to replace a pair of Griffin EarThumps/Earphones which I enjoyed but died about a year after I got them. But that is another review.
So in short, these headphones fit somewhat awkwardly on small ear, because they can't lie flat against the ear. You do have to listen to your music quite loud, but even with the not so hot fit, these things do stay on. I have jogged in them, done aerobics, and weightlifting, and nothing has budged them. Would I buy these again? Probably not, but they work, they stay on, and they are pretty cheap.
No Bass but great for workouts January 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These headphones are great for the price and for working out. They stay put thru rigorous exercise and nice ear pad covers that you can wash after you sweat all over them.
The cord is just long enough to go from your ears to your pocket with just enough left over. The length of the cords are "offset" meaning that the right side is longer than the left forcing you to put your player in your left pocket. There is a nice cord clip that will allow you to take the pressure off of the cables when inside your ears and stop pulling (which is so common with others without a clip).
The ONLY drawback of these are the low range on listening. They have ZERO BASS. Yes you do not try to mix audiophonics with excercise usually but if a song has a nice solid bass beat, its tinny. Do not get these if you expect nice bass with your workouts. If you can handle the treble heavy sound of music while working out then these are for you. If you are getting these as a full time MP3 listening headset you may be better off looking for a better set or get an over the head set that has decent frequency response.
