 Great Headphones July 29, 2008
The Sony MDR-IF240RK infared cordless headphones are a great deal. They work perfectly and sound great. I have two other sets of corded headphones but these sound better then both of them. There only drawback is since the infared they have to be in line of sight with the sending unit. I chose these over RF units because I live in an aptment building and the RF unit get a lot of interfernce from other devise in ajoining apartments.

The headphones are fine. I'm more bummed at Amazon because the price (about $40) was supposed to include shipping and I was charged for the shipping. There is no way to contact Amazon that I know of in order to ask them to correct this misrepresentation.
 Poor quality September 6, 2008
I bought this product to watch TV while keeping the volume low. The product is either defect or poor quality. It only receives the sound intermittently. When I turned my head, the sound would disappear. I only kept it for one day before I return it.

I bought these earphones for my wife who is hard of hearing. I did not tell her I was purchasing them and when they came she said she did not need them. I coaxed her into trying them and now she wears them all the time. The recharger/stand is a great feature and the fact that you do not have to turn them on or off between each use makes them very easy to use. We are 100% satisfied.
