Sound pretty bad November 3, 2006 5 out of 12 found this review helpful
These don't sound very good, I wanted to replace a pair of Grado SR60 open headphones I use at work so I'd make less noise, but I really don't like them. They sound very cold and small, like listening to a cheap radio in another room. Even cheap earbuds sound better. I didn't expect them to sound as good as the Grados, but to at least be passable. I'm just going to keep using the Grados, and throw these in a drawer or something.
Best Deal on Quality Headphones January 18, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Quality construction, noise-blocking headphones do what they're supposed to do - superior quality of sound for such a low price (I paid $22 including shipping at Amazon). Am looking to buy more as gifts. These headphones have an adaptor so they can be used in older large-plug devices as well as popping them into my computer or iPod. Full, rich, clear sound; lightweight but sturdy construction - I laugh when I look at ads for similar-looking noise-blocking headphones from Bose advertised with a convenient 12 month payment plan to pay the $180 price...
so so headphones May 28, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
this headphone was not as loud as my logitech identity which was cheaper and the bass is not what I expected. but on the other hand the headphones are really comfortable.
High Quality Product September 18, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Sound quality is simply incredible at this price range. I've also tried ones by Sony, Philips, and Maxell; they simply lack the clarity of HD201. It fits comfortably around your ears, great for winter times since it works like muffs too. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the cord was insanely long; useful if only your stereo system is on the other end of the room, and you just happen to like listening to music at the very opposite end of it, and that's assuming you have a big master bedroom.
Uncomfortable, sounds terrible April 13, 2008 5 out of 10 found this review helpful
Ok, what else is there to say? Worst headphones I've ever owned, except for earbuds that came with MP3 players. But I only paid $10 for them at Amazon, so I didn't bother to return them. Good enough for the kids to use on the computer or in-car dvd.
FWIW, I later gave Sennheiser another chance, for some reason. I got PX100's. Now that's a good headphone. Pretty outstanding, actually. So thumbs down on the HD201, but Sennheiser is still redeemed.
