| Customer Reviews:
Over the Head are more comfortable September 2, 2004 Pros: They have a volume control which is extremely nice if you have your MP3\CD player in your bookbag, or other hard to reach place to change the volume. Has one cord coming out that help tangling and getting the headphones off. Great sound quality.
Cons: Not very comfortable for the first couple minutes until you get used to it, also when you take them off. The headband is too big, it doesn't fall off because it is tight on the sides of your head(which hurts a bit but you can bend it some to help). I have a smaller body and a smaller head but I still think it shouldn't be that big.
Overall: If you can do without "behind the head" than get the Sennheiser px100 or the heavier Sennheiser HD-497.
I also that these panasonics heard these are the most comfortable behind the head headphones.
review of panasonic headphone January 21, 2007 These headphones are very good. My first pair broke so I went out and bought another pair made by TDK at Best Buy. They didnt have any bass. It was comparable to the generic headphones you get at Walgreens. THey were a big waste of money.
The bass is maintained very well in the Panasonic headphones, much better than the TDK headphones.
Cheap and not worth it February 9, 2007 I bought these because they were cheap and that is what I got. The sound is not that great, but the worst part is the headphones DIGGING INTO THE SIDE OF MY HEAD. After an hour I have to remove them due to the pain when the headphones squeeze my head. Pay a little more and get something that is comfortable.
Great for the price February 10, 2007 I have used several ear buds and head phones with my MP3 players and have found these to offer the best sound for the money. Additionally, they are comfortable and comform to your head very well. I use these a lot working out at the gym and they stay out of the way and in place better then most. I'm sure if you spend over $50 on a pair you may come up with something better. But it's MP3, compressed music and in itself does not warrent expensive head phones. Highly recommended. This is my second pair. The first lasted two years but I recently pulled the wires out of the jack - my fault.
Comfortable, but the quality stinks May 17, 2007 I've gone through two pairs of these headphones in about a year. The 2nd pair lasted only 2 months! I will not be buying a third pair. They are very comfortable, but after some use the sound starts cutting out in one channel or the other. You have to jiggle things around to fix it. I think the external volume knob is a mistake because it ends up being an additional moving part that is prone to problems. Eventually, the sound will fail completely, apparently from loose wiring. Buyer beware!
