Speaker is larger than I expected. Beautiful Cherry Finish. Speaker works better than I expected. I haven't really had a chance to run it on a wide range of music.

I am using these speakers currently in a stereo music setup but intend to switch them to a home theater application. They deliver excellent midrange and midbass but I find the soundstage a little lacking and that there is not much "air" in the sound - probably the result of the tweeter rolling off at higher frequencies. Overall it has the characteristic Polk sound which is mellow and not fatiguing. I recommend them heartily to users who are looking for value rather than perfection. They are well built and attractive with decent quality binding posts with the ability to biamp them via a second set of posts.

I bought these speakers from J&R and I'm pleasantly surprised how good they sound great value for the money.
