The Octavio unit rocks! Incredible sound out of a relatively small unit. I played this unit at a party and noone knew that the music was not coming from my home entertainment system - this thing has serious volume!! Also, It has three colored covers to choose from but the raw leather speaker look is my favorite (No cover).

This speaker system for Zune has amazing sound, great base, and a wide range. The only draw back is that it is a little heavy and not easy to transport as it does not have a handle or carrying bag. I take is everywhere to get high quality stereo sound with just an electrical outlet.

Right out of the box, a speaker was blown and the remote didn't work. If it would have worked, it probably would have been a great speaker.

I took advantgae of the special on the Octavio speaker and the Zune bundle. I was somewhat amazed at the size of the speaker when I received it. But it actually fit nice with my other electronics in my home. I was pleasently suprised with the ease to hook up my new Zune player and my TV and DVD to this speaker. It has been truly one of my better experinces with buying electronics. I don't understand all of this electronic gagets very well, but I did this on my own and I'm so pleased with the performance of this package. The speaker fills my room with some great sound. I have had friends over and they are so impressed they are looking at buying the same package. This is truly a great deal and a great sounding system.

I was disappointed with the Octavio speaker system, especially based on all the other glowing reviews and high price. If what you want is volume with decent bass, you might like it. Surprizingly, I found that my smaller older Bose CD/radio unit had a more refined sound at different volume levels. The Octavio sounded a little boomy. Quality control must be an issue too, because one of the Octavio speaker surrounds was mis-shaped (kind of square in one area, instead of round). Not what you expect for $500.
