These speakers are awesome, great for entertaining. I purchased three sets and they all work together with independant volumes. They also have good sound, you don't need two for stero sound, one accomodates for left and right.Highly recommended!

We got these to replace an Acoustic Research indoor/outdoor wireless speaker that suddenly refused to turn on, and we wish we'd bought them sooner! We use them primarily to listen to MLB Gameday Audio. The transmitter plugs into the headphone jack on the computer and sends the signal to the two speakers (which are across the house from the computer). The sound quality is really good, and having two speakers allows us to put them in separate rooms so we can hear the ball game throughout the house.
The remote control is a nice feature, although you cannot turn the speakers on with it, but it's nice to be able to control the volume from across the room.
These cost about the same as our old speaker, and the quality is far superior (not to mention this set gave us two speakers, while our old one was a single speaker). In short, they look sleek, sound great, and turn off and on easily (a constant problem with our old speaker). They were a great purchase for a good price. I really recommend them.

I should preface my review by saying I got these off a clearance table at Lowes, so that may explain my dismay. I mounted these up high on an inclosed patio. The speakers are about 25 feet from the power source. Simply put, the the sound quality is bad. I have tried adjusting the channels, moving the transmitter, moving the speakers and the sound is marginal at best. I have noticed with reviews of wireless speakers that either you get a decent set or a pair of dogs, so it probably is advisable to buy them where you know you can return them. Adding to the other reviewer's comment concerning the remote; mine will not turn on with the remote, just turn off in the same stand by mode as the other reviewer. This means I have to get up on my tiptoes and turn them on, negating the 50% of the remote functionality. Overall I will be replacing these.

I ordered a set of wireless speaker to use with my lap top. It consisted of two speakers and a transmitter, which is plugged in the computer and the wall outlet. Couldn't be simpler to set up. The speakers work on 6 c batteries or wall outlet. The batteries last from 6-8 hrs. I plugged them all into the outlet except for one. Oh, I forgot to mention, I was so happy with the speakers that I ordered a second pair which I connected to my stereo. Of course I only use one at a time. Either can be used with all 4 speakers.
 One speaker sounds great. The other seems to be dead on arrival March 4, 2008

The speakers arrived today. Set up is easy and took less than 15 minutes. One speaker sounds great. I was surprised to be honest. Fairly loud. Exactly what I have in mind for my use.
The other speaker has some barely noticeable sound coming out of it and doesn't seem to be impacted by either the volume buttons or the remote. This one stinks. I have written the mfg and asked if they could replace only the bad speaker rather than making us pack all this stuff back up and re-shipping it. We'll see...
