Fantastic 46" HD LCD 120MHz Television July 12, 2008
I have had this TV for three weeks now and I extremely happy with the set and the delivery service from Amazon.com. The tv was delivered with the White Glove Amazon service and everything was just as advertised. It arrived about 5 days ahead of the original schedule. The price was the best that I found anywhere, bar none. This was a fantastic deal for this tv. The picture is excellent, it has every feature and various inputs that anyone would want, the setup is as easy as plugging it in and being amazed. My first LCD and I am loving it. Connected it to an Onkyo surround sound home theater system and everything works as you would expect and demand. The Red Touch of Color makes it pleasant to look at when the tv is off. You won't go wrong with this LCD tv.
Sansung 46" model 650 LCD TV July 12, 2008
At this point I have owned this TV for just about a month. I am not real technical so I relied on the reviews of others (I read everything I could find) and a visit to Circuit City to see this model TV in action and question the salesman. It's the most I have ever paid for a TV but it was cheaper than anywhere else and I got a credit of a $152 from Amazon because they advertised this set later for less then what I paid them within a 30 day period. At last check this set is still selling for more than I paid. With no shipping charge and no taxes to boot this was a great purchase. I am real happy about that! As for the quality of the picture, I am real happy about that as well. I ordered Direct TV and the HD picture is super. We bought our last set 13 years ago (A SONY VEGA 32" Flat Screen - if it fell on you, it could kill ya ;^). Anyway, the only thing I ever done to this Sony was to clean the screen. I am hoping that this Samsung will give me the same kind of service.
Absolutely Amazing! July 13, 2008
I have been nothing but impressed with the TV so far. I was a little nervous buying the TV online from Amazon, but so far I havent had any issues. Mind you it has only been 3 weeks since I received the TV, but so far so good. The picture is amazing and the sound is pretty good. I'm not a very picky person though.
Sports Viewing at it's Best! July 18, 2008
I made a mistake and reviewed the 52" version. LOL. My friend has this 46" tv and it is spectacular for sports. The refresh rate and response time mean no blurring. Car racing in high-def is a new experiencce. He also has a Wii gaming system that looks incredible on this tv. I will get one as soon as I can. Maybe the price will drop just a tad more. Maybe I'll just pull the trigger now! It's the best for the money.
Great TV at an great price July 18, 2008
I love this TV. It is the best picture I have seen, and the price just dropped to $1699. I was recently in a TV store and could not find a TV that could compare to this picture.
Additionally, I have it mounted on a Southwest wall with a slider and window next to it and have not experienced any troubles with the picture being washed out or any significant issues with glare.
The viewing angle is very wide. We just had friends over and everyone was saying they thought the TV was angled towards them.
If you are thinking about hanging this TV on you wall and want the best wall mount for the best TV, look at the Premier AM3 wall mount.
It was a tough trigger to pull, because I am very cheap, but I am glad I pulled this trigger. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
