4 out of 5 stars Great value for the features   January 16, 2007
I was looking for the largest CRT HDTV that I could fit in my existing cabinet and stumbled across this set by Toshiba. The picture quality is very good, stunning in HDTV, but the sound leaves a little to be desired. My 14 year old Zenith had much better sound quality. The TV is loaded with features and provides plenty of inputs to plug in just about any a/v device known to man. The only things I would change would be the time it takes to tune each station which can make channel surfing a little tedious and the sound quality.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome tv   February 5, 2007
Stunning picture, looks good on My Wii, and great colors. Be sure to put BBE on for sound, because it sounds less tinny then. My only gripes are overscan, which from the looks of it is really bad, but it's picture is good enough to warent purchase. Really good, and great picture.

5 out of 5 stars good tv   May 6, 2007
I am not one for words. It is a good tv, everthing it was advertised to be.

4 out of 5 stars Good TV, great price   October 19, 2008
I've had this TV for over a year now and love it. I specifically wanted a CRT TV because of the superior contrast/color and the wide viewing angle. The sound is quite a bit better than most HDTVs due to the larger cabinet than LCD or Plasma displays allow so most of the time, I use the internal speakers. Though for movies, I still like to turn on the surround system. The one major drawback I see for this TV is that it has a 540 line display. True 720 line displays are rare and 1080 are pretty well non-existant in CRTs so I guess I shouldn't be surprised but 720 is really ideal for most program material. Another minor drawback is the on-screen program display is pretty limited. It won't show all the information. Overall, I'm well pleased with this TV and even though LCDs have dropped in price DRASTICALLY over the last year, I still wouldn't get one over this CRT model. I love it because no matter where I am in the room, I can see a crisp, clean image. And it won't break the bank.
