4 out of 5 stars Kingston 1 GB SD Card - Great Value   May 9, 2008
10 out of 11 found this review helpful

This Kingston 1 GB Secure Digital Flash Card ( SD/1GB ) (Retail Package) is on the low end of capacity being sold right now. However, it's such a great value. No need to worry about SDHC compatibility here. Works with all SD devices and computers with appropriate memory card readers.

The only knock on this card is that it is somewhat slow. However, at this price it's still great as a spare.

This card is pretty widely compatible and will work in your Kindle and your Wii alike. Like I said, pretty much any camera that accepts SD memory will accept this one, though there are better and higher capacity cards available for newer cameras with wider support.

So if you have a really high end camera you will want to spend more for a bigger one. But if you need an extra memory card for your Wii, digital camera (Canon, Nikon) or PDA, this is a good one to get.

Enjoy!

The cards does everything it's supposed to. 1 GB seemed like a lot when I purchased it, but now I'm back, looking for more memory...anyone who has just upgraded their camera and is going to be shooting in higher resolutions (especially if they're considering shooting in RAW format) might want to consider a larger card.

4 out of 5 stars Muy Bueno   August 2, 2006

I'm afraid I don't know a lot about this technology. I went for economy and I am getting very good quality photos. I think I would have liked more speed in taking successive shots and I really don't know if a different flash card would have made a difference or if the camera is slow. Its still faster than my old one so I'm generally happy. Hope this is some help

5 out of 5 stars Works great in my Axim X51V   January 22, 2007

This little gem works fantastic in my Axim. My previous card started acting weird and was losing data. This replacement is great. I can rely on it to hold my sensitive data and then can swap it into my camera and take over 300 high res pictures at 8 megapixels.

No worries here.
