I love these headphones. They are comfortable, they sound great (a little bit light on the bass but fantastic mids and treble), they stay on my ears through all kinds of activities (from running to the treadmill and weightlifting to biking), they are a great solution to the new hands free law in California when driving on the cell phone, and the best part, they allow you to stay in tune with your outside environment, whether you are talking on the cell in the car, jogging on the sidewalk or riding your bike on the street, or walking around the grocery store. You don't have to shut yourself out anymore. If you want to talk to someone, just turn the volume down while leaving the headphones on. Great stuff!

While these are by far the most comfortable phones I've worn, they are by far the worst sounding. There is virtually NO bass. The bottom two musical octaves are simply not present.
These may be OK for books on tape, but forget it if you actually want to listen to MUSIC.

The engineers on this product need to go back to the drawing board.
Forget the weird fit and the funky ear speaker design which may fit someone but certainly not me.
The speakers have no range at all.... no bass... no treble...just midrange...
Reminds me of the early 9 volt battery transistor radio sound from the 60's
They get a solid "F" in my book.
Heck, I'm disappointed in myself for even buying these. What was I thinking????

Do not buy the Airdrives INA099110 earphones.
This headset was what I was looking for; over the ear headphone with mic and pause/play control for the iPhone. But it included one one extra feature, a volume control. This addition is just a prime point of failure. When I got mine it was intermittent, but I slid the slider a few times and it cleared up. I kept earphones figuring that was that. But not so they continued to cut out from time to time. I even put a binder clip on the slider to prevent the cutting out but at last even that kludge does not work, so in the trash.
The volume control can hardly be considered a needed feature. It cannot make the audio any loader then what comes out of the iPhone. If you need to mute pressing the pause button makes more sense. And if a lower volume is needed then a more refined control is at the end of the cord on the iPhone.
Excellent product August 4, 2008
Recently bought Airdrives for my niece and I've suddenly become cool again. She loves the hot pink color and she loves being able to wear them ALL the time while interacting with the outside world. I have read these are also very safe to wear and don't damage your hearing. Highly recommended!
