Great Value! October 31, 2007 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
There is such a significant difference between the stock ipod earbuds and the Shure SE110: clean crisp highs, warm, accurate mids, and tight bass. I tried several other earbuds, even more expensive sets, however, for the money you can't beat 'em!
Great sounding, REALLY comfortable December 1, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I've been using these headphones for about 2 months now and I am really happy with them. They sound great - (I listen to mostly Pop/Rock). I use the foam ear pieces which are really comfortable and block out most of the ambient noise. The headphones come with high quality audio cables which are thick enough to not get tangle when you throw your mp3 player in your bag. I wish the extension cable that came with it is a bit shorter so I don't have an extra foot of cable to deal with. The headphone cable is too short to use without the extension. The carrying case is a nice touch, but I never use it.
OK, but not great January 14, 2008 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
Pro's Very comfortable, robust design
Con's Thin bass and treble, some midrange coloration, poor value overall
To fix the lack of low end and high end I use the Latin EQ setting on my iPod. This improves things remarkably. This coupled with the high degree of comfort means I will keep them. Wish they didn't cost 100 bucks... $60 is what they are probably worth.

I would like to begin with that I'm writing this review while I'm using them. I bought the Bose in ear headphones thinking that they were good. They didn't feel to secure in the ear and the sound quality was muffled a bit. Let me tell you, the SHURE SE110 are awesome. A friend who is an electrical engineer recommended them to me based on their frequency response. They have a great sound and do an excellent job cutting out the ambient noises in whatever atmosphere you're in. I am a musician and can hear all sorts of stuff that people may not. I highly recommend them.
These are great! Practically no complaints January 9, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'm not much of a reviewer. That's mostly because I'm too lazy. So here it is in a nutshell: I'm really very happy with these headphones. They sound great, have obviously been made very sturdy and strong, and fit well in my ear (they come with lots of different earplug options). They also come with a small carry case and a tool thingy that I THINK is used to clean out ear gunk but I'm not sure since I didn't read the manual (who needs a manual for earphones anyways). In my opinion they are competitively priced , especially for their quality of sound reproduction and make. My only complaint (which is a small one at best) is that they look quite ugly in my ears. But alas, I deal with it since I love good bass and treble. 4 1/2 stars (if Amazon let me do half stars).
