So far, perfect ! ! ! July 11, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I am very pleased with this case. It is made very well and has a very nice leather exterior. The clip holds extremely tight and the bottom is a durable mesh so it will not block sound coming from the iPhone speaker. The mesh bottom also makes it easy to "push up" and remove the phone from the case because it is a snug (in a good way) fit.
Most importantly, this case protects the iPhone very well, particularly the screen.. Most other cases out there only protect the back, but leave the most vulnerable part of iPhone (the screen) exposed. I do not have to worry about putting this case in my backpack.
Great case, a few flaws October 1, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a nice case, the leather quality is decent, and it does the job. There's not much I can say that others haven't. However, I will warn you: the case is quite snug initially, so that the only way to get your iPhone out of the case is to push the bottom of the case to push the iPhone out. The problem is, the bottom of the case has a wire mesh, which WILL scuff up the bottom part of your iPhone a little.
Other than that, I do like the case better than most I've seen on the market.
Poorly constructed November 25, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Within a week of use, the belt clip had come loose from the case. The belt clip is attached to the case internally by nothing more than a piece of fabric adhesive tape.
Not Worth Getting October 17, 2007 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
This case has shown itself to be a pain in a couple of ways. The first is the designs let in the screen after the iphone was stored in the case. The fingerprints, after being rubbed off, leave a residue on the phone. This case then paces designs on the touch screen area that can sometimes be difficult to remove and can get pretty annoying. This is caused by the pointless diamond designs printed on the inside of the case. The second issue I have with the case is that it holds the phone too tightly. The black plastic piece on the bottom back of the phone can begin to come loose just from removing the phone from the case and reinserting it. This has moved me to purchase a casing that covers my entire phone to prevent it from falling apart.
Not so snug any more August 20, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
A very good case. Nice soft leather with a professional look to it, sturdy clip and really slim. You can hear the phone well, and you can sense the vibrations well.
The iPhone fit was snug enough when I had bought this. But now, after about 15 days of use, it has loosened up considerably. I am not worried about the case dropping off, because the belt clip is real sturdy, but if it does, I am afraid the iPhone might be thrown out and get scratched up.
However, this case is slim because it is not generously padded. Also, the inner lining is not that soft. My iPhone is not scratched yet, but I attribute it to the scratch-resistent material used for the phone, and not to the inner-lining used on this. Maybe a softer inner lining is not really required.
Also, I find it difficult to pull the phone out without hitting the volume key on the side. I am not sure if there's a way to avoid this. I would hit the volume key even if I first push the phone up from the bottom.
But I do like this case (Haven't tried any other case yet).
