Although I can't definately confirm it, but I don't think the battery I received was new (as obviously expected). Came scratched all over, more than my original old battery, and after just the first charge, lasted in standby mode only several hours! No original packaging, just in a plastic bag, they did send another free charge......exact same! I'd stay away from this vendor.

I purchased this to replace my original Treo 700p battery because the charge it would hold had slowly been decreasing over the past few months. Well, this purchased "OEM" battery holds about the same amount of charge as my old, extensively used battery, making me wonder whether or not it is a used "refurbished" battery itself.

Original replacement. Works great and the price is much lower than purchasing from Palm. My only wish is that they were more durable, but at this price, replacement is a reasonable option.
