| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Altec Lansing OYOYO Foldable Headphones - This set of headphones goes to the extreme in both portability and comfort! Featuring 3 separate hinges, these headphones quickly collapse down to a very portable size. Just pop them in the included protective case and wrap the cord using the integrated yo-yo style cord control. And with a flexible frame construction and soft ear pads, these headphones comfortably wrap around your head.

Just don't. March 14, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I generally don't go out of my way to write a review, but I had to look these up just to warn others not to purchase them.
I don't think it matters what size your head is, or what kind of music you listen to, or what activity you're doing while you wear headphones, these aren't for you.
After 30 minutes or so, these things start to hurt. You re-adjust them, they hurt again 10 minutes later. Heaven forbid you should try running, they constantly fall down the back of your neck.
And it's not like I didn't give these a chance. I used them for almost two months (I spent enough money on them I really wanted them to work out!), and they did start to feel more comfortable toward the end, but then they also wouldn't stay on my head at all because they had lost a lot of the 'spring' that was causing the discomfort when they were new.
The only redeeming quality is the case which is genuinely well engineered. It is so well made that the OYOYO case now holds my new pair of Philips over-the-ear headphones.
If you do decide to buy these, don't say you weren't warned.
Very Uncomfortable & Awkard February 17, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I expected more from an Altec Lansing product. I was very disappointed that they were so awkward and uncomfortable on my head. As the other reviews have said, the sound quality is poor and they pop off my head if I try to wear them at the gym. Basically, I tried wearing them for 2 days but ended up returning them (paying for shipping of course) and buying a better made product for the same price.
doesnt fit my big head January 26, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Deccent sound at modest volumes but a mess at higher volumes, particularly the base. What's worse however is the fit, they pop off at any movement and dont block out ambient noise-not very useful at the gym for example. Altec can do better.
Doesn't fit my small head January 14, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
As other reviews have said, the bass sucks, but my biggest issue is that they are not adjustable for size, and they keep slipping off my ears because of the flexible nature of the design; especially when I'm on the treadmill, I can't keep them over my ears.
I still own my old pair of Sony over-the-ear headphones, and I thought the Oyoyos would be a good replacement, but now I have to use the Sonys at the gym and the Oyoyos on the train.
Good...Until they Break January 5, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These have been nice headphones until recently...because of there simple and light design, they broke on me (the left speaker was crushed). Just to make sure (because they are pointless now) i tested the strength on the other speaker, and it gave way easily...Don't EVER put these in an bag, which is anoying because i use headphones a lot and put them in a bag (backpack) when i'm done.
As for when I did have the phones, the treble was extreme and crisp, but for the bass i had to turn it up on the equalizer in my Sony Walkman, to hear any bass.
