Great design October 20, 2005 45 out of 46 found this review helpful
This is a very well made clock. It is easy to see from far away, shows correct time within minutes of setup, no more climbing up to set the Daylight Savings Time or remembering how many minutes the clock is off. A quick test showed that clock's time about 2 seconds different from my Verizon cell phone.
Good product.
Convenient and attractive ... March 12, 2007 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
I've owned this clock for almost a year, and consider it one of the better buys I've made in clocks. So far, it has "self-adjusted" for every daylight savings time change with no problems. The key, I think, is to make sure that it is set to adjust automatically, and that the time zone is set correctly. There's an unmarked button that, if depressed, will deactivate DST automatic adjustment (this is all explained in the short owner's manual).
The clock is very classy looking, and, contrary to other reviewers' comments, the frame is real wood, NOT plastic. I know because I "nicked" the back of it accidentally on a nail when I was hanging it. It has a walnut stain and smooth satin finish. The design will go with a lot of different decorating styles. Mine is sort of traditional/eclectic, and the woodtone of this clock works well. The dial has a mildly "old-fashioned" look to it -- very easy to read.
I've been thrilled with this clock, and would gladly purchase another. Amazon's price is excellent, too.

WeatherBuffs needs to get real about shipping cost June 25, 2006 21 out of 34 found this review helpful
I was looking forward to purchasing this item until I got to the final step of the order process where it shows the shipping cost. The cheapest shipping would run me 14.99 for an item costing 21.89. Sorry WeatherBuffs, you lost a sale due to your ridiculous shipping price.
Doesn't work for me on the East coast. April 9, 2006 16 out of 21 found this review helpful
For me, the LaCrosse Technology WT-3122A 12-Inch Wood Atomic Analog Clock is of little value. I talked with a friend living in Colorado who is very satisfied with an equivalent clock, but I am in New York and much further away from the transmitter and it just doesn't work to my satisfaction. When it was first put on the wall in the kitchen and didn't work for several days, I contacted technical support. They suggested I put the clock in a window. I followed their suggestion and after 2 days the clock was set correctly. I moved it back to the kitchen wall and now 7 days after the change to daylight savings it's still on eastern standard time. I didn't purchase this clock to hang in my window. I need a clock in the kitchen. As soon as I can find a suitable replacement this one is going into the garbage where it belongs.
