 Works great with the Onkyo HT750 speakers November 30, 2007

I got these speaker stands with the Onkyo HT-SP908 7.1 Channel Home Theater System. Onkyo hasn't updated their product page to list them yet, but they are perfect for the Onkyo SKS-HT750 speakers included in that system. The stands are sturdy and include a spacer that allows you to select a speaker height of either about 36" or 43"
I think they look great. Not that much more you can say about a speaker stand...

The stands themselves were better than I expected. They are very sturdy. I also liked the weight of the stands. We have several pets and I am not worried about them knocking over the stands. My only dissapointment was the M4 screws that attach the base to the pipe. I ended up substituting high quality stainless steel screws to get a real good grip into the pipe threads.

The product overall is beautiful and quality. The screws that it comes with are junk though. I read other reviews before i bought it and not to my suprise they were absolutely right!! i actually stripped one because someone tipped over the stand and the bottom platform came off. Do yourself a favor and purchase your own 4mm X 30mm screws and throw away the ones that they come with... you'll need "3" per stand.

The base is heavy, It keeps the speaker from tilting. Easy set up. Great quality. They are made for the SKS-HT240 speakers.

The AS-240 speaker stands work very well with the SKS-HT 240 6.1 surround speakers. The stands, the speakers and my TX-SR674 receiver are all silver. It makes for a nice look...
