I have 2 pairs of this excellent-but-inexpensive speaker. They are the best-sounding speakers I've ever owned (my previous best was a pair of AR-7's). The Cls-6s offer smooth, wide frequency response & clear, excellent detail along with a nice broad "sweet spot". One pair is powered by the fine Teac mini receiver (a perfect match), the other by a good Sony mini music center. We play classical CDs, mostly piano & chamber music along with the occasional concerto or song recital--all this music sounds real, rich & attractive to my 'experienced' but 76 yr old ears. My wife & I are completely satisfied with these speakers. The 1st pair was from J&R, the 2nd from Amazon; both came promptly & carefully-packed.
