| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Designed to be the perfect entry-level hi-fi or surround effect speaker the F10 is the discreet option. With its 19mm titanium dome tweeter and 100mm PP-coated bass/midrange driver the F10 packs a more than respectable 70 Watts for superb sound reproduction.

Love Celestion Speakers February 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have a 5.1 system with the more expensive (now gone) Celestion A Series speakers. I recommended and ordered these for a friend in hopes they would be at least comparable. No disappointments! Wonderful little speakers and a great price. Very attractive and well built also. Beats me how they can even make money on these! Would make fine surround speakers in a moderate home theater set-up or fine for a small stereo rack.
Fantastic value for money September 1, 2008 The five stars reflect price/quality ratio: at the current sub-$100, Amazon price these are a superb budget buy -- soundwise lightyears ahead of equivalently priced big-box store offerings. (The dark apple finish is quite attractive, too.) Do not be overly concerned if they sound somewhat tizzy straight out of the box: these speakers need a good 8-10+ hours break-in for their response to smooth out. Additionally, as with most speakers, the driver mounting screws need to be retightened a little; this requires a star (not hex) key. I am using with older Creek amplification in an office stereo system, but they also sound well in a larger room driven by an AV receiver and, alternatively, a Ming Da EL-84. For larger spaces, greater volume levels, or just more bass, the larger standmount F15 or one of the floorstanding models might be recommended -- though I haven't heard them. However, I am an "amateur" of the LS3/5a and Proac Tablette, so I like these just fine for nearfield, mid-volume listening.
