This item came up when I searched for WIRELESS speakers. They are not. I have to pay to have them shipped back now.....

The speakers come up when you browse for wireless speakers. We bought them thinking they were wireless and they are not. We plan to return them. The info regarding these needs to be much clearer.

Very solid speakers for the money, and good looking as well. Not quite powerful enough for a larger, more open out door space, but quite good on a deck or in a partially enclosed area.

I ahve had a lot speakers and nothing relates to the jensens I bought. I have had sony, klh, and rca and all where 3-way 8"s and the jensens out performed them all by the quality of sound that they produced. i would recommend the jensen speakers to any body that wanted to get GREAT sound.

I purchased these speakers to mount outside over my 20'x20' deck and pool area. These are incredible speakers for the price. I drive them off of a 5CD, 90W RMS JVC bookshelf type speaker system that sits in my kitchen just off the deck. If you're looking for a similar setup, Radio Shack sells a nice high power speaker selector box that lets you connect your stereo receiver output and drive up to 4 pairs of speakers. The speakers can run independently or up to 4 pairs simultaneously by pushing different selector buttons on the front of the unit. I have the bookself speakers in the kitchen and these Jensens on the deck connected and the sound is fabulous. This setup has been a great hit at parties this summer.
The speakers themselves are very high quality and come with nice mounting brackets that you can't see in the picture. They let you mount the speakers either vertically or horizontally flat or at a 45 degree angle pointing up or down. You can also rotate the speakers about their mounting axis to "point" them in the direction you want the sound. I have mine mounted vertically and rotated in a bit toward the center of the deck.
