Advanced OMNIPOLAR technology in concert with an innovative cabinet design serves as the foundation for the newest member of the high-end OM Design series - the OMD-15 floorstanding model. Creating incredibly lifelike sound, perfectly natural, realistic and dynamic, the OMD-15 guarantees incomparable music and movie experiences.The OMD-15 is a slender 2.5-way tower speaker featuring an elaborate cabinet style and Mirage's latest generation of OMNIPOLAR technology. As part of the OM Design series, it shares many of the OMD-28 flagship model's sonic characteristics. The OMD-15 cabinet is internally divided into two sections. The top section features a 1" PTH tweeter and a 5.5" Poly Titanium deposit hybrid woofer with Mirage's patented Ribbed Elliptical Surround mounted in Mirage's exclusive OMNIGUIDE array. The top section also incorporates a passive radiator for greater bass extension. The bottom section of the cabinet features a 5.5" woofer in a down-ported enclosure. This ingenious design allows the OMD-15 to generate exceptionally low frequency reproduction considering the very small footprint of the cabinet.
