probably some of the best speakers availiable to purchase, in the past I've owned a pair of 501's and these 901's blow those away. Note that the active EQ included with this set is not compatible with all receivers.

The clarity and quality of sound are as good if not better the speakers of twice the price. Bargain...

I own the Bose 901 Speakers. The biggest problem will be finding a Compatible Home Theater Receiver, They are rare because of the required Pre-amp in/out required for the bose active equaliser. If you do find one from Bose Corporation List, Last Updated November 29th, 2006. The cost of a receiver capable of powering the speakers is more than the cost of the 901 set. You need to do your research before you buy.
