Product Description Speaker wire is made from copper wire that can corrode very quickly, rapidly deteriorating the performance of your cables and the overall performance of your system. To avoid this, always terminate your speaker wire with connectors. The kind of connector you need varies with the kinds of connectors on the back of your amp/receiver and your speakers.Monster's QuickLock connector system is the fastest, easiest way to install the right connector to your speaker cable for maximum performance and reliability.

great cable connectors but expensive August 6, 2005 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Works just as advertised. Strip 5/8" wire, insert into bottom half, screw on top half, you're done. They are expensive, one pkg of 4 will do 1 speaker. Only worthwhile for a good sound system. Be sure they don't touch each other when connected.
Superb connectors for "guillotine" style connectors January 19, 2007 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Even high-end Bose speakers can sometimes utilize "guillotine" connectors through which you have to feed a twisted end of braided speaker cable. Unless you're a whiz at this, you often can bend wire strands trying to feed them in.
These connectors are a SUPERB solution. The wire (whether thin gauge "zip wire" or thick Monster Cable wire) is splayed out in this connector and locked in securely via a screw in fastener. The flex tip then feeds into the speaker's guillotine connector with a minimum of fuss and ensures a low-impedance connection.
If you have a 6.1 system with all speakers sporting those kind of connections, you need three packs of these. Placed on high quality speaker wire, these connectors are a permanent solution. But don't worry, if you upgrade your speaker wire later, these connectors come off in a jiffy. Worth the price!
Great connectors... if they are not too close to each other. November 20, 2006 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought these to make it easier to connect 12 pairs of speaker cable to a 12 channel amp. The connections on the amp are temination board type (tiny screws and tiny holes on a connector board). The connections are very close together. The Flex pin does indeed make the connection much easier than trying to insert bare wire into tiny holes to screw down. But when attached, the Flex pin connectors are fatter than bare speaker wire, so when they lay next to each other, they are firmly touching. Unfortunately, some portion of the metalic top part of the flex pin connector (above the "Monster" name in the picture) must conduct the signal because I kept getting shorts in several of the speakers (no sound). To fix the problem, I had to use tape to cover the metallic top part of every other connector to prevent the metal tops from touching each other. Once I did that, there were no more shorts and they are working fine. I hope in the future, Monster corrects this issue.
Great product! November 10, 2006 These little guys are great! They just screw on..no crimping is required! I originally installed them to get my system working. Once everything was good, I took them off to remove the extra wire I had installed "just in case". It literally takes two minutes to install these.
High tech connectors for old tech speakers January 4, 2007 I used these for some old but excellent speakers without modern plug-in binding posts. They worked perfectly, and give me more peace of mind that I have a good connection to the speaker than just sticking the raw wire ends into the clips. I prefer using dedicated banana clips, but when that isn't possible these really do the job, and do it elegantly. I've used other screw in speaker connectors, but this system is much more secure, easier to use, and solid than the cheaper wire crimp style of attachment.
