I have 4 of these cards that I use in my Panasonic HMC-150, a professional grade video camera. I've run read/write tests on all of them and they get about 14 MB/s write speeds and 17.5 MB/s read speeds. Never encountered any errors! These cards are the best bang for your buck, and the frustration free packaging is awesome.

When transferring my holiday pictures to my Vista PC the process hung up, then the PC re-booted (only after I removed the card and allowed some recovery routine to run). Upon re-boot the card was unreadable on the PC, it simply did not see it. I replaced it in the camera and got "Card Locked" even though the locked tab was not in the locked position. Not too impressed with this at all. I've only had the card 2 months, it was really nice when it worked, fast transfers were great. Not sure what caused the problem, ie PC or card, but I've lost some nice wilderness shots/footage.

I returned the card to Transcend and they quickly sent a replacement card, along with an apology and a $5 coupon for their online store. They do seem committed to customer satisfaction which is nice. Shame about the lost data though. I'd rate the card higher now if I could.
Frustration-free Packaging Wasn't November 13, 2008

My SDHC card was stolen somewhere within Amazon's shipping department. The outer packaging with my address had not been tampered with nor was it damaged. Inside was the recyclable square package with a zip tab opener that was torn off. Inside were three Transcend pieces of paperwork and my receipt. I checked carefully to see if the actual SDHC card had been inserted without the small plastic case standard for all such cards. Nothing. I opted for the Frustration-Free Packaging to do my bit to Support Green. Never again.
The icing on the cake was the standard "sorry it has not arrived, it must have been lost in shipping, we have issued a refund" in response to my request for a replacement along with the explanation as above. Apparently Customer Service does not read its emails.

I bought this memory card for my Canon SD1100is, it works great and at 8MP can hold about 1,900 pictures. If only I would have waited until they came out with the frustration-free packaging for this! That was by far the most annoying part, trying to get into the thing. Do yourself a favor and buy the one with the new packaging! --> Transcend TS8GSDHC6E 8 GB SDHC Card (SD 2.0 SPD Class 6) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] Oh, I should also add that amazon is the best place to buy any kind of memory card. I've compared prices with stores and they're always about twice as much there as on amazon. The money you can save is worth waiting a day or two to get it.

I bought this card for my brand new Kodak 1012IS. Immediately after getting it, I opened the brand new sealed package, and card was recognized. Over 2500 pics, High Definition video was recorded instantly, super fast, amazing. I can't believe what a deal I got. Thank you so much Amazon and Beach Camera for such awesome products for such low price. May God continue to bless and prosper companies like these.
If you are looking for great card, this card will leave you with extra money to go and enjoy a great dinner!
