Solid wood, simple round-profile 0.625'' wide and 0.75'' thick molding with a 0.25'' deep rabbet is covered with a thin layer of gesso and painted black. i needed this frame for my nephew's Christmas present. i ordered and paid for it. it did not arrive by the date promised. i phoned and inquired about it. as it turned out it was delivered on the date promised to another house several miles from mine. as luck would have it, the guy knew of me and i was able to get the frame in time. the frame was excellent. the present turned out fantastic. the customer service came in when the owner of the company phoned me. he was upset, naturally, that i had to do my own searching for the frame and had to rely on the good morals of an acquaintance. he wanted to assure me that he would be taking the matter up with the delivery service. to receive a phone call from the owner of the company and that owner being so nice was really an experience that you do not hear of very often these days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND ITS PRODUCTS !!!

I purchased these frames after much consideration. 11 X 17 prints must often be custom framed. Purchasing these saved me a lot of money. The quality is nice and they look great hanging in my office. I am very satisfied.

Well, it does it's job - it frames and it hangs - and it does it well. What more can I say? Packaging was secure and shipping was fast.

frames are great and fit perfectly. my only complaint was that the mounting screws came w/out instructions and having a Y chromosome obviously prevented me from figuring them out. i emailed them but didn't get an answer. however when i called in i got right through to someone who helped me out.

Not terrible, but not super. They're not too pricey, but after the shipping and taxes, they ended up being twice as much as I could have bought localy.
