Bring the noise with the heavy-duty Dual XNBP12D enclosed subwoofer, which features a carpeted enclosure, plexi subwoofer viewing window, and unique blue illumination. The patent-pending illumiNITE technology constantly illuminates the subwoofer with blue LED lights when it is in use. This box makes a simple and easy add-on for existing systems with no crossovers needed. It provides 600 watts of RMS power and 1100 watts of peak power. Dual's enclosure utilizes a specialized tuned-port computer-aided design to increase the output efficiency. The nailed and glued construction with added bracing is used to eliminate enclosure movement caused by high sound pressure levels. Other features include dual 12-inch Low-Q optimized drivers for loud, accurate bass, four-port dual chamber design, and a mirrored/diamond-plated chamber. Tech Talk RMS versus Peak Power: Peak power is measured by a brief musical burst (such as a crashing cymbal) and refers to the maximum amount of power that a device can produce from such a burst. However, a more reliable specification is RMS (root square mean) power, which measures the maximum continuous power that an audio device can produce. With a higher RMS figure, your music will sound cleaner as well as louder.

These subwoofers are excellent! I have them hooked up to a 1200 watt power acoustik amplifier (which pushes these effortlessly) These subs are loud, and bump hard. They hit the highs and the lows really well. They don't sound distorted at all. When installed at circuit city, the guy who hooked them up told me I could turn the stereo up to 35, but I only usually have it at 25, and that is very loud!
Bandpass subwoofer boxes are great if you want clear loud bass. It sounds great with rap, rock, techno, and everything else.
People can hear the subs from down the block! These are much better than my friends mtx set up. I thought her car stereo was loud, but you can barely hear her music. With these, you can hear the music, and hear thundering bass.

Plus, they aren't that big, so they can fit in a wide range of vehicles. Shipping is fast too. The illuminite feature is cool, because when you open the trunk you see these cool blue lights!

I bought this sub system for my 19 year old son for his birthday. He thinks It is the best.It has a great sound and is realy well made.It is most certainly worth the money I paid.It was also easy to hook up.

i work in a ce store in the seattle area and we sell quite a lot of these subs. the key to their success has to be the price (150 USD) which surpasses any of the competition when you are in the market for two twelves and an enclosure. having heard them daily for the last year i'd have to say they put out a decent sound. the blue lights are also cool but most people don't realize they have to be hardwired for power. my only qualm with the unit is that they're not very reliable. many come back blown. if you buy these, buy some kind of warranty as well. it's completely worth it when you consider the money you've saved by buying this package.
