Product Description Don't miss important calls when the ringer is off. The Light-Up Indicator with Ringer Alert at the base of the antenna of the KX-TG4322B Expandable Cordless Phone will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. Now you can program each handset to ring at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so that it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping. Our new phones :) July 11, 2008 17 out of 18 found this review helpful
Our previous 3 year old cordless SBC phone's battery pack was once again showing signs of impending death. You know the type, the 3 cell pack with the little wires and connector, you pay $13 to $15 for at target or some such. I'll try not to dygress anymore. We (wife and I) decided on this Panasonic cause it's newer and because of the 2 handsets that can act as home intercom. They work great! Not only do they share the same phone book (50 numbers) but the intercom system thingy works super. When we received the phones, wha.. it came with 4 AA cells in a plastic bag (??). I spent a couple min. trying to open the base, to insert these batteries. To my suprise and glee, they're not for the base, they are NiMH cells for the handsets! Now I never have to get shafted for a silly little battey pack. And to put the star on the tree, the chargers are "smart" they know when the cells are charged and stop charging!!! Yey, yippee!! We've use these for a week and we love them. Thanks much.
No Backlit Keypad....a downer for a great phone.... August 21, 2008 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I purchase this phone for it's solid reviews and performance. Amber back light and answer machine and voice caller id and most important it's Night mode. Night mode turns the ringer off while you sleep for a set period of time that you choose. The main issue is no backlight for keypad. It's a standard feature with a majority of the phones out there but Panasonic didn't think so. Why have a backlight LCD and light marker if you can't see the pad to answer the phone. This to me is a fatal flaw for an otherwise great phone. None of the reviews indicated this obvious obmission. No backlit number pad -- what a downer.
Good phone system June 23, 2008 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I enjoy the paging feature as I live in a multi story home its great to contact others in the house. It also features a good speaker phone I use it when we talk to our son and other family in the UK the whole family can talk to them together. We also have a large garden and I dont have any problems with signal loss. Great product.
WATCH OUT IF THERE'S A PROBLEM July 7, 2008 9 out of 19 found this review helpful
I bought the phones. One came damaged. Their solution? I send it back (at my expense) to Texas service center. They have TEN days to replace it with a REFURBISHED telephone. So now I'm paying MORE for a refurbished phone than I did for a new one AND I'm without the phone for an additional at least 2 weeks, probably closer to three weeks (10 days with shipping both ways). Then to add insult to injury they say it is according to Page 3 in the manual which, of course, I didn't see until I received the damaged merchandise. After years of Panasonic devices (including telephones) in my home and office I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING PANASONIC AGAIN.
Great Phone July 15, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This phone is super! The design of phone is so nice. The sound is great and clear. The batteries are the thing I like the most. AAA rechargeable battery are easy to replace in future with low price. I can replace batteries with high capacity 1100 mAH just about 10 bucks. When the batteries are low, and I have no time to charge it, I just put the Alkaline AAA to use the phone.(Do not charge Alkaline batteries). Take out the Alkaline batteries, and replace by the reachargeable Ni-MH for charging.
The phones also share the phone book. Just add phone number to one phone, and it automaticly shares to the second phone. Nice! The phone also do not interfere the wireless router 2.4Ghz. My old phone was always having a noise when I was in the range of the router signal.
