The system features a trio of narrow bookshelf speakers, each of which measures 5.5 by 15.75 by 2 inches (W x H x D). The speakers set up both horizontally and vertically, so listeners can configure them to handle the front and center channels or rear and center channels in a 5.1-channel system, or all three surround channels in a 6.1 speaker array. The versatility extends to the dual 3.44-inch woofers and 0.75-inch tweeter in each speaker, which deliver a generous 65 Hz to 40 kHz frequency response. The rich, elegant audio sounds great whether you're listening to traditional audio CDs, DVD movies, console video games, or high-resolution DVD-Audio and SACD music discs. Great speaker and easy to hide for the price February 17, 2008

For what I paid, I got a great speaker system. I love the fact I can hide it behind a vase or a plant, etc. You can mount them on the wall, but I thought they would be more obvious that way. I have had them for about 2 years, and I get great theatre sound from this set. Definitely add a subwoofer to these though, because they are not meant for low bass.

I purchased four of the speakers a couple of years ago for Dolby Digital.I had not been aware that the 3 piece system was out there.I now own 7 speakers,all with good power handling capabilities.I'm ready for 7.1 when and if the software emerges.I enjoy cranking up the volume and watch Pink Floyd concerts and these smaller but robust speakers ...they hang right in there.Definitely happy with them...
