Features:
| • | A JBL computer-optimized bass-reflex port provides deeper bass and less turbulence. | | • | Use of premium components gives you less distortion. | | • | These speakers are designed to look good anywhere with a style that equals their substance. | | • | The JBL ES Series uses cellulose-fiber cones reinforced with a ploymer coating for uniform pistonic motion: this eliminates internal resonances, without increasing cone mass. This means tighter, more precise imaging over a wider listening area. |

Great Sound! October 20, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this subwoofer in addition to a JBL SCS-145.5 SCS Series Home Theater Speaker System, and I'm pretty impressed. I was thinking about buying a BOSE system instead, but a friend of mine was encouraging me to check out JBL - saying that JBL is better priced and a better quality. I have to admit he was right! The subwoofer, alone, puts out sound that makes me feel pretty roughed up after watching a video clip from "Live Free Die Hard". I am not disappointed!
