The HiFi Works 30019 HFW5 Indoor/Outdoor Speakers are the perfect under-the-eave cabinet speakers that sounds great and resists the elements of both winter and summer. Unlike many weather-resistant cabinet speakers, there is no need to bring the HFW5s in from the cold when the weather gets bad. This pair of speakers comes complete with the mounting bracket and hardware for easy installation on the outside of almost any home. The high-efficiency design allows the HFW5 to operate on as little as 10 watts of power, but it isn't sheepish -- this speaker can handle the heft of a wide range of home theater and stereo receivers (up to 80 watts). The speaker delivers high tones through the 0.625-inch tweeter that features a polycarbonate dome. The 5.25-inch subwoofer features a black polypropylene cone with a rubber surround seal that delivers deep, bumpin' bass tones. This pair of outdoor speakers are built to swivel and lock in place to direct the sound where you want.

I was pleasantly surprised by the audio quality of these small inexpensive speakers. I use them indoors rather than outdors so I can't comment of their durability in an external environment. The white cabinet blends in well with the interior walls and that's mainly why I got them.
Bass response is more than adequate especially considering the small cabinet size. I was most worried about the bass reproduction prior to ordering the speakers but they seem to be much better than other similarly sized speakers I've come across. Mid range and highs are adequately reproduced too. All in all, these speakers are provide a level of performance beyond their looks and price. They come highly recommended from me.
Additionally, they were purchased from the seller "Outdoorspeakerdepot" here on Amazon. Timely shipping combined with the lowest price here make them highly recommended.

Great sounding speakers for the price. Mounted them in our Gazebo the white finish matched up very well with the interior.

Considering the price, these are great speakers. There is a definite stereo "sweet spot" so test the location before you affix them to the wall. If they are too close together, you still get the sweet spot but it is smaller. That is true of most speakers, I imagine. I am very happy with my purchase.

These Speakers are very good speakers. Their very easy to put up and install. Their sound qualities are excellent. I wouldn't put a lot of power into them, probably no more than 10 to 20 Watts per channel.
Considering these are "outdoor" speakers, overall I rate them excellent in overall quality, workmanship, ease of installation especially their audio connections.
I installed them under an eve of our garage. I don't know how they will hold up under a full rain shower however. They won't get wet where I installed them. They just look too good to be installed fully where rain might get them wet.
