Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description The HiFi Works 30020 HFW Rock Speakers are stone-shaped, outdoor garden speakers that blend in with most landscaping to provide great sound without even noticing a speaker. The all-weather plastic housing can withstand the elements throughout the seasons. The high-efficiency design allows the HFW to operate on as little as 10 watts of power, but it isn't sheepish -- this speaker can handle the heft of a wide range of home theater and stereo receivers (up to 80 watts). The speaker delivers high tones through the 0.625-inch tweeter that features a polycarbonate dome. The 5.25-inch subwoofer features a black polypropylene cone with a rubber surround seal that delivers deep, bumpin' bass tones. This pair of outdoor speakers are built to look just like ordinary garden stones and deliver outstanding sound that you and your guests will hear, but not see.
Product Description This simulated rock speaker is designed to be placed on the ground and blend into any surroundings.

Amazing sound, Incredible Price August 17, 2006 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
These speakers sound amazing and there offered at an incredible price. The sound is clear and clean and they can handle a lot of volume. The bass could be better but you definitely will not be disappointed either. They seem well built and able to with stand the elements. I've only had them little over a month but haven't incurred any problems with the severe thunderstorms we've had.

They fit the landscaping well. However, there were no basic installation directions with them. I did not know how to connect them to a stereo/audio component. I had to get help from someone to connect them. This manufacturer needs to take this in consideration and include basic instructions.
Good for the price April 27, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
These are just fine for what your going to pay for them. To get it a much better speaker your going to have to open up your wallet and pay a whole lot more. These are not high tech indoor sound systems. They are just outdoor patio speakers and they sound just fine for what they are meant for. The reviewer who couldnt hook them up hasnt ever hooked up speakers before because these were incredibly simple.
great sound easy hook up May 18, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
As with most back yards I am not looking for the high fidelity sterio outside. I just wanted good quality sound, better than what I could get out of a portable radio. The speakers more than exceeded my expectations. I actually only set up one speaker and put the second in the garage. I will probably save it as a spare, or bring it out only for parties. I only wish that the speaker cable was about 6 -9 feet longer. I do not like the idea of splicing two cables together and having the connection lay in the wet dirt.
My daughter brought the neighbor kids over to see the "singing rock"
