Product Description
Don't just rely on standing or in-wall speakers to deliver your music. Fill out the sound in your room by installing in-ceiling speakers, which can maximize your audio entertainment. This pair of 6.5-Inch Ceiling 2-Way Speakers features poly woofers with rubber surrounds and 25mm pivoting, soft dome tweeters as well as a rear-mounted tweeter-level control. Since placing the speakers in the center of the listening area may not be possible, the 6.5-Inch In-Ceiling 2-Way Speakers each have a pivoting tweeter, so you can "aim" the high frequencies toward the listening position. The output of the tweeter can also be adjusted to compensate for speaker placement or listening positions that are less than ideal. The 0dB position is designed to provide the smoothest frequency response on axis. If the high-frequency response is considered to be too strong or too weak, the tweeter level can increased (+3dB position) or decreased (-3dB position) to suit your preference. These in-ceiling speakers are designed to work within any interior-decorating scheme. They can be installed in virtually any location where flush mounting is possible, and their grilles can be painted to match your décor using any type of interior or exterior paint. A paint shield is included to protect the speakers during the painting process.

Great for hall speakers May 5, 2007

I don't think these souls as good as my Phoenix Golds that I have in my den, but the price is right and they are perfect for the hall. They are perfectly fine for an ambient application. Also, the documentation on this and the Musica volume control is excellent. I got a great deal from amazon by combining the speaker with the volume control. Don't be affraid to buy Musica these products because there are no reviews; the quality is equivalent or better that other products in this price range.

Recently installed on my brand new home theater room, replacing the rear speakers for a Panasonic Home Theater system. They provide decent performance and deliver good sound quality. Extremely easy to install, make sure they are well insulated to avoid sound 'migration' thru the house.

Just installed these speakers a couple of days ago and am pleasantly surprised with the quality of the sound, packaging, ease of installation, and price. I am looking to buy more of them for surround sound systems in other rooms of my house but can't find the great bargain that I got with the first ones ($29.97 versus $114 now).
