I was looking for the best speakers for my basement theater system and had considered purchasing Bose until I heard the Boston Acoustics 3-ways.
Now don't get me wrong, Bose are great speakers but pound for pound the Boston Acoustics had better highs, " pivoting aluminum VR tweeter, 3-1/2" cast midrange, and 8" cast woofer midrange and tweeter mmid-range and lows.
They are a litty pricey but worth every dollar.
