I had this mixer for a few months. It was my first mixer. It does its job as an entry level mixer. I used it to practice beatmatching and mixing.
There is no fader curve adjustment, no hamster switch, nor transform switches as this is not a scratch mixer. The BPM counter does not work well, although I wouldn't recommend using those things anyway.
I would not recommend this as a first mixer unless you're getting it for free. You can save up a few more bucks and get a more featured mixer that'll last you past your first few months of DJing.
Dreadful! Avoid! April 10, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
channel one & two both went out! BAH! Useless, + the sound sinks in the middle of the crossfader....it's a real pain for someone as precise as me. Basically you cant drift into one record after the other, it just kind of pops up(you cant adjust it either).
Great mixer for beginers January 26, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Well this mixer has its low and high points. The BPM counter is complety worthless, I dont use it anyway. The great thing about this mixer is the 3rd channel! It took me a while to get used to the cue PFL function seems its a crossfader. The EQ is easy to control, and the channel seperation is pretty good. The crossfader feels loose to me. The sound sort of pops up, instead of slowly blending over which i noticed my first time using. Overall this mixer is a great bargin for any novice who wants to explore the 3rd channel arena.
