Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This 43" High Definition Display television is capable of producing a full 1080i signal via a digital set top box. This set offers display format conversion to ensure that you are seeing the image the way that you want to, regardless of source. It comes with Active Control, Eye Fidelity, APAC, Picture-in-Picture, protective screen, all in a slim upscale stylish design. In addition the 43PP9202 utilizes a comb filter that is one of the most sophisticated types of comb filters. It improves the quality of incoming video signals to the set by better separating the signal into its basic qualities, chrominance and luminance. A comb filter works on signals that are transmitted via composite video or RF connections.

4 out of 5 stars I Love It   August 20, 2003
I was hesitant to purchase this HDPTV, based on the size and the cost. I was scared I would be purchasing a lemon...This is not the case, I love my TV, it is very user friendly and shows a great picture...It has different viewing options for movies, If doesn't have a any glare, it's light and very easy to relocate if needed. You will not be disappointed in your purchase.

5 out of 5 stars Great TV   January 19, 2004
Even though not a widescreen TV, very good picture and quality.

1 out of 5 stars Poor component quality   September 12, 2004
Purchased TV 15 months ago. Major circuit board went after 15 months. Tried to get them to agree to help on part cost or labor cost but they refused. Repair price is $800+ parts and labor. If you buy this get the extended warranty or be where I am with a high definition paper weight.

1 out of 5 stars Avoid this TV   March 20, 2006
Thought I was getting a great TV at a great price. I had this TV for less than three years, with NOT a lot of viewing time on it and a major component goes out on it that caused red blurry images. The cost to fix this ($400+) was too much considering the value of the TV. If you want a nice picture and TV for a couple of years and then have it break, then this TV is for you. If you want a quality product that will last longer than a typical Hollywood marriage, avoid this TV like the plague.
