Enjoy your vacation with Sony.This television incorporates the picture tube that made Sony famous: the legendary, patented Trinitron CRT. From the inside out, it's fundamentally different from conventional color picture tubes. You get a picture that's the brighter, more dynamic and more rewarding to watch! To prevent detail from being washed out in the picture highlights - or lost in the murk of picture shadows - Sony developed Dynamic Picture circuitry. It constantly adjusts the picture brightness and contrast - tailoring the signal to the dynamic range of the picture tube and making sure you get all the detail that's coming to you! This TV features 181-channel frequency synthesis tuner that quartz-locks the channels for greater accuracy. Channel Block blocks viewing of up to two channels. Channel Caption enables you to identify Channel 2 as CBS, for example, and Channel 33 as MTV.
