Kodak staticide wipes are ok for cleaning a scanner. However, I've found that they can leave streaks so it's best to use them in tandem with a genuine chamois (sp.?) towel. Clean your scanner glass with the staticide wipe, then give it about 3 minutes to dry. Then go over it with the soft side of the chamois. Make sure to be thorough.
