| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The AC-VQH10 recharges Sony P Series and H Series InfoLithium(R) batteries and can also provide power to a compatible Sony camcorder. A handy built-in LCD display shows the battery's present level of power and the amount of time remaining until a full charge is completed. This unit allows one to install two battery packs at once. When two batteries are installed, the unit will fully charge the first battery installed, then it'll charge the second battery.

Fast but Flawed March 2, 2007 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
I bought this to charge a couple of NP-FH70 Infolithium H batteries. If you want to just plug it in and do something else, it takes about 4 hours to do a full charge of two batteries. However, you can do a partial charge (which charges the batteries just slightly less than the full charge,) in about two hours, provided you don't mind checking on the charger and taking the battery out of slot 1 after 1 hour so the battery in slot 2 can begin its partial charge. All in all, buying a couple of travel charges would probably be a better value. To do a super fast charge with this unit you must stay with it during charging.
Convinient but not ideal June 11, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It's certainly convinient to plug in the 2 batteries and leave them knowing that when you come back they will be fully charged. Major drawback is that it works either as AC or as charger - not both simultaniously. Another substantial minus is that it charges first battery to full before going to second - it should have first charged both to normal (which is quick) and only then bother wasting time on the full charge. Otherwise, works as expected.
Fantastic Product August 24, 2007 Charger works exactly as advertised. It charges the batteries significantly quicker than the regular charger. The charger also has an LCD screen that allows you to see how much charge the battery has (both graphically and by timer) and how long the battery has remaining to charge (to both normal and full charge). The dimensions of the charger are also fairly small and it weighs next to nothing for a charger that holds two batteries at the same time (which makes it real nice when you have to carry it around on a trip). Overall I am extremely satisfied with this product and highly recommend it.
Easy to use & Informative February 24, 2008 Quality product though a little bulky for travel. Options available with camera to charge from docking station or cord therefore this accessroy is best suited if you need to charge while using the camera or if you need more than one battery charged at a time.
Expensive but very useful May 2, 2008 Although it's expensive, if you have do a lot of shooting, this is almost a necessity, because you wear out a lot of batteries, and the fact that this will do two of them allows you to forget about the job.
I originally bought some offbrand batteries, which don't work with this unit, and resented the fact that you apparently have to use Sony's Intelliforce proprietary brand. But they're worth it - with this unit, you can tell at any given point how long your battery will last with its current charge, and how long it will take to finish charging it.
