This cable not for use with some Swann Cameras July 3, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The transformer shipped with the SWANN Maxi Day/Night Camera will not fit this cable. Swann said they would send an adaptor but have not done so.
Works great, but... June 10, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought several of these when setting up a DVR security system at the vacation house. One of the cables shipped with the wrong DC power connectors, but the ones that connect correctly work great. Good video transmission (in a hot and humid environment) and easy connects (the tear-away DC connectors seem unnecessary, but may be convenient if you need that). All in all, I think it's a worthwhile buy. I am disappointed in the incorrect parts included, but I expect that support will correct that soon. The quality of the cables seems great otherwise.
BNC video cables October 13, 2008 Theses cables were easy to use, got here quick and worked perfectly. No porblems. It even comes with male/female adapters. Good product.
Looses electric power November 4, 2008 I used this cable for my night vision Q-SEE QSB550SR camera. At day time everything worked just fine, but at night the camera would just turn off automatically. It turned out the electric current from the power adapter was just getting "lost" in the cable. So the camera simply did not get enough power for its IR lenses. This cable may work OK if you plan to use it with a small regular camera without the night vision function, but I don't recommend it for the night vision cameras.
