This is a rockin S-video cable. I couldn't wait for it to come in the mail. When it came I opened the package just waiting to see the black cord and the golden tips. And sure enough, WOW! it was just as black and gold as I would have thought. It fits ALL S-video connections and it works great. I can play a DVD player and watch it on my freakin' T.V. now!!! I don't know how the S-Video people do it, but it works. Also, I have had mine for a while now and it still works perfect and hasn't broke. I highly recomend this to all fans of S-Video.

I bought (4) these cables to install in my basement that is being finished. They arrived in one day, in great condition, and work great. The price for these was unbelievable! The same cable at Radio-Shak would cost 5 times as much. Great price and delivery. Made in China, but work well.

Unlike some of my other 25 foot cables, this one produced a perfect signal. You don't need more than this, it's a good buy, especially at this price.

this cable looks inexpensive, but then you get charged $10.75 for shipping - not so cheap anymore! i chose to go with a different cable that i feel will be more reliable for a couple bucks more and free shipping.
just my $0.02...

When I got a used projector (Boxlight 3600) for use in my apartment theater, I needed to run a long video cable from the front of the room to the rear where the projector sat. I usually used normal composite video, but decided to upgrade to S-Video, esp. since the cable really didn't cost that much more for the length I needed. The improvement was AMAZING. Text was less blurry, the colors were far crisper and didn't bleed into one another, and reflections and shiny objects now had a bit of gleam to them (I think the reason they look so opaque is due to the fact that the pj is 11 years old). I never realized how much of a difference a cable could make.
As for whether or not crosstalk is present, I'm not a very good judge of that sort of thing. What I do know is that it works waaay better than my old composite cable on my low-res 800x600 projector for my DVDs. My movies are now much more enjoyable, and they were pretty enjoyable before. The cable certainly isn't Monster/THX quality, but it's a fairly sturdy cable for the price you pay. Great for a low budget system.
