5 out of 5 stars Hard drive in my front pocket   March 27, 2008

One of my better recent purchases like having a second hard drive in my laptop. Allows me to work from anywhere without the laptop since it's a virtual pc in my pocket. Great price and okay speed transfers make this a good buy. I only seeing about 30gb but with most card and hard drives you never really get the listed amount either.

5 out of 5 stars TRANSCEND 32 GB COMPACT FLASH CARD   July 10, 2008

THIS IS A SLOWER 133 x CARD, BUT I DO A LOT OF STILL PHOTOGRAPHING
OFF A TRIPOD, AND DO NOT NEED THE SUPER FAST CARDS. I'M USING THIS
32GB COMPACT FLASH CARD IN ONE OF MY FOUR DIGITAL CAMERAS, WITH THIS
ONE BEING USED IN A fUJI S-9000 - 9Mp CAMERA, WITH EXCELLENT RESULTS,
AND AT THE 9 Mp RESOLUTION THE CARD STORES 13,940 PHOTOS, GIVE OR TAKE
A FEW, WHICH ALLOWS ME TO SHOOT ALL DAY WITHOUT CHANGING MEMORY CARDS.
I RECCOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO DOES A LOT OF STILL NATURE PHOTOGRAPHING
LIKE I DO.

3 out of 5 stars Its OK, good value but may not be fast enough for camera   August 22, 2008

This is a great value but don't buy it if you're planning to use Continuous Shooting mode of your camera because it's too slow for that. I bought it for a different application (mp3 player) but wasn't thrilled with the sync times. On the other hand, its HUGE so that maybe reason enough for some to go with it.

1 out of 5 stars Slowpoke   September 22, 2008

I purchased the Transcend 32 GB card thru Amazon.com several months ago to use as an extra hard drive for my Samsung Q1 SSD. This would give me 64 GB in the two (one enclosed) solid state memory drives. I choose the CF type card instead of the better, faster SD HC card because the Samsung Q1 has a CF slot where the card can be kept without protrusion. However, I found the Transcend 32 GB drive to be much too slow to work as a hard drive. I cannot play movies from the drive and cannot even play music from the drive without distortion because of its slow speed. Hopefully there are/will be much faster CF 32 GB cards available.

5 out of 5 stars Huge space, great price   October 18, 2008

I use this with the Canon EOS 40D and it works perfectly with all functions, including continuous shooting. Massive storage for long trips or shooting sessions. People argue not to put all your eggs in one basket and to buy several smaller cards. I think this is bunk! If these cards work to begin with they will continue to work unless damaged by the user. This is only going to happen outside the camera or while inserting and removing, so switching smaller cards frequently will only increase your chances of damage!
