A Great Filter September 14, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought this filter after owning a number of other filters, both uncoated and multicoated. When I took this filter out of the packaging, I could tell it was exceptionally well-made. The glass is clean and the case is metal. I will not buy another brand of filter anymore.
You get what you pay for! March 7, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The B&W filters are expensive - but you get what you pay for. This is an extremely high-quality filter that is multi-coated and of superb quality optical glass. You don't want to put a $10 piece of junk glass on the front of a $500 lens - what would be the point? Sometimes it pays to shell out a few more bucks for the quality. This is one of those times. B&W filters simply are the best.
Must Have, It's good to pay extra. April 15, 2008 Very well made German engineered lens. Don't settle for anything less than multi-coated, it helps with glare and doesn't distort colors. B & W is well known in professional photography.
made in Germany? not sure! May 24, 2008 0 out of 11 found this review helpful
filter ring print as "MADE IN GERMANY", not "gebildet in Deutschland". Not sure it was made in Germany, or, an OEM made in China?
Among the best filters made. June 28, 2008 These filters are well made. I have a few of them on a variety of lenses and they function perfectly. I notice no degradation of image.
