Amazon.com Product Description Spend enough time on the water, and your equipment will spend some time in it. That's why Bushnell had the foresight to build the H20 series of binoculars, which are O-ring-sealed and nitrogen-purged to complete lock out moisture should you spill water on the housing, take your binoculars overboard, or simply run into foul weather along the way. The H20 binoculars feature rubber armoring with textured pads to give you a sturdy grip in slippery situations. More significantly, the binoculars' multicoated optics and premium-quality BaK-4 prisms maximize light transmission and image clarity, so you can enjoy a clear view of the Orcas in the distance or the fast-approaching coastline. You'll quickly see how a little planning on Bushnell's part goes a long way in magnifying your adventures on or around the water. Other features include twist-up eyecups, a large center focus knob for easy, precise adjustments, and a long eye relief. Specifications: - Magnification: 10x

Tech Talk Objective Lens: The diameter of the objective or front lens. The larger the objective lens, the more light that enters the binocular, and the brighter the image. Field of View (F.O.V.): The side-to-side measurement of the circular viewing field or subject area. It is defined by the width in feet or meters of the area visible at 1000 yards or meters. A wide angle binocular features a wide field of view and is better for following action. Generally, the higher the magnification, the narrower the field of view. Roof Prism System: In roof prism binoculars the prisms overlap closely, allowing the objective lenses to line up directly with the eyepiece. The result is a slim, stream-lined shape in which the lenses and prisms are in a straight line.
Product Description Like the name says, these binoculars are made for water. Splash them, soak them, dunk them - and they'll emerge 100% fog free and dry inside. Perfect for skiers, snowmobilers, anglers and kayakers. True waterproof construction and a rugged, non-slip rubber design makes the H2O series a simple choice for those whose lifestyle borders on the hyper side of active. O-ring sealed and nitrogen-purged for waterproof/fogproof protection in any season, both the fully and the multi-coated optics render bright, clear images. Take them with you - everywhere.

These are great binoculars. I've owned much more expensive binoculars and truely don't see any difference. Great buy. They are 100% waterproof since I flipped my canoe and they were not affected in any way.
Low price, high quality November 10, 2006 27 out of 44 found this review helpful
I was looking for a pair of roof-prism binoculars like this, for hawk and bird watching. I had looked at Swarovskis, but they were way out of my budget, nearly a thousand dollars for this resolution.
These binoculars are crystal-clear, with sharp focus. The 42mm lens lets in lots of light, lots more than the 35's I've been using. I wear glasses and the twist- up- and -down eyecups are a blessing. There are also attached lens protectors for the 42mm, nice because I always used to lose them.
For the price, these can't be beat.

Carrying case is un-useable January 9, 2007 5 out of 15 found this review helpful
The plastic O ring on the carrying case which holds the large shoulder strap came in broken. Thus it renders the case un-useable. By the time, and my cost it would be to file a complaint and ship the case back is not worth it to me. However if Bushnell would send me a new carrying case, I would be very pleased with the transaction. Howard F. Rutkowski
Bushnell Binoculars - Great December 7, 2007 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
These are exactly what my husband was looking for. Small in size so as not to be bulky. High power. Perfect for hunting or using around the house.
