The Digital Concepts 52mm Macro Filter Kit includes four close-up diopters at +1, +2, +4 and +10 magnification, and a durable carrying case. These filters simply screw onto the front of any 52mm lens, and will maintain resolution and picture clarity while magnifying image size. Plus, these filters are double-threaded, which means you can combine them to achieve increased magnification, or you can attach additional optics such as polarizers or skylight filters. While a far cry from a true macro lens, what can you expect for under $20. These filters tremendously boost the Nikon's 18-55 lens's macro capabilities.
The reason I only gave it 4 stars is beacuse the glass seems a bit splotchy. Perhaps a good cleaning would help. I'm also a bit disappointed in the "wallet" they came in. I was hoping for something a bit softer rather than nylon and nylon nets. But then again, what can you expect for the price?

These macro filters are great! They are really fun and the images from them look great on my Nikon D60.
Really Make a Difference November 30, 2008
I am just starting out with digital photography and these attachments really make a difference in close up photography. Recommend them highly
