This product is so much cheaper than the sony brand.
This charger works perfectly fine.

This charged my battery rapidly. Hour and the green light was on, finished charging ready to power up my camera.
Only used plugged into the wall outlet thus far.

This charger stopped working after only two months. You pay for what you get--this charger was "cheap" in every sense of the word.

I RECIEVED THIS AND AT FIRST THOUGHT THEY SENT ME THE WRONG ITEM BUT TO MY SUPRISE THIS ITEM ACUTALLY WORKS BOTH IN THE HOUSE AND IN THE CAR, WHEN I FIRST LOOKED AT IT I SAW JUST THE CONNECT TO THE CAR BATTERY AND IMMEDIATLY THOUGHT HEY THIS IS FOR THE CAR, BUT WOW WHAT A GREAT DEAL, TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE
 cheap is not better July 15, 2008
I bought this specifically to use in the car - my camera came with a Sony brand charger to use in the house but I needed one for a motor home when other power might not be an option. After the first car use the cord started acting up - now I have to position it just right to get it to work and make sure it does not jostle for several hours while my spare battery is charging...I will be ordering a new cord for it and I've used the car cord probably 10 times. I'm not positive, but I think that the batteries charged in this don't stay charged as long as when I use the sony charger either.
