Amazon.com Product Description Don't let the size of this tiny top-loading camera bag fool you. This take-along easily carries a small SLR with a short lens, multiple rolls of film (in the outer pocket), and accessories (in the inner laminated mesh pocket). Slip it onto your belt or carry it over your shoulder.
Product Description Many camera bag manufacturers rely on looks rather than function when designing their products. The Lowepro TLZMINI-B reflects a change in that kind of thinking. Not only is this bag attractive, with it's rugged material & stunning black color, but this bag is also extremely functional. It features a main compartment that fits an SLR camera with a short zoom lens comfortably & securely. The top-loading design allows you to easily retrieve your camera at a moment's notice.

Great Fit For Nikon D40 June 22, 2007 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
The great thing about the Nikon D40 is it's smaller size compared with other DSLRs. The challenge is to find a bag that is just big enough for the essentials so you won't have to lug around a large bag for a relatively small camera. The D40 (with the kit lens) fits very nicely in the TLZ Mini - longer lenses need not apply. It's impressively padded for such a small bag. The front pocket is small but large enough for me to carry what I need: currently a spare battery, lens hood, UV filter, and a small lens cleaner. If size DOES matter to you because you're trying to carry light, this bag is just the right size.
Updated 12-9-07: I just purchased the Nikon SB-400 Speedlight, and it tightly fits with it's own case in the front pocket of the TLZ Mini. I'm happy I don't have to buy another bag, because I still love this one.
Perfect for my SLR-like digital camera! April 29, 2006 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
I have a Fuji FinePix S9000 digital camera and this bag fits it perfectly. There isn't any left-over room on the interior once the camera is placed inside, but the external pocket provides plenty of additional space for extra AA batteries and memory cards. If you want a bag that isn't bulky, just large enough for your small SLR or small SLR-sized digital camera and extra batteries, this bag will do just great!
Neat little holster, not quite big enough for Nikon 18-200mm VR March 5, 2007 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
I couldn't use it (D80 + 18-200mm VR), but it's pretty effective and minimalist, as I'd like, and would be ideal with some of the kit lenses on a Nikon D40/50/80.
Just right for my camera. February 4, 2007 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This bag is perfect for the Nikon D40 for on-the-go shooting. It's not for all your gear, just the camera and a few extra memory cards -- you'll need a bigger bag if you want to carry all the inventory with you. It has an adjustable strap to loop over your sholder or you can hang it on your belt if you prefer, or simply carry it by the bag's handle. It's what you need when you want to travel light.
Fits Nikon D40 with 18-55 lens but not 55-200 May 16, 2008 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I purchased this bag based on the review which states it fits a Nikon D40 with either the 18-55 kit lens or the 55-200 zoom lens. This is certainly not true, as I would have to seriously squish the camera, remove the strap and force the zipper for the case to fit the camera with my 55-200 VR lens. If you are looking for a bag that will fit both, I would bump up to the TZ 1 rather than the mini. The quality of this bag is excellent as expected from Lowepro, but unfortunately, now I'll have to purchase a second bag for when I want to use my zoom lens.
